Ryan K. Snow



I Graduated High School from Cuyama Valley High with a class of about 15 .

     I then Joined the navy Right out of High School and Served on the U.S.S. Ogden LPD-5 "decommissioned in 2007 towed to Hawaii , awaiting her fate"  I

 spent from 83 to 86 On board as a Boiler Technician .


    After that Did Ranching , Reserve Fire dept Sta #41 Santa Barbara County , Boiler Repair out of Visalia , Back to Cuyama To work as a Dish Washer and then

For the county as a Maintenance Tech . After that Back to Ranch work and then started working as a Payroll clerk for a Staff Leasing Company .


Taking Promotion to Manager and moving to Bakersfield in 1989 . In 1992 took the big step and open My own Accounting Firm , turned over the business to

 Family members and it is still running to this day . Decided to try Driving Trucks , Did that awhile long haul and then Local out in the Oilfield for DOWELL /

SCHULEMBEGER  as a Equipement Operator " nitro, frack, Acid, and Coil tubing.

After that got old I went back on The Road and Did some Self Storage managing Before settling on The Union Pacific .

Hired out in 1998 and took promotion to engine Service in 1999 . Promoted in 2000 and Have worked every where from San Luis both directions to Yard

Goat in Fresno "BEFORE RCO's " and extra board when We still had Manned Helpers in Bakersfield, was working on the Re26 " Mountain Pool" from Bakersfield

to L.A. and Bakersfield To West Colton.


Became a Member of the BLE shortly before being promoted " Ron Marney " recruited Me .

I Tried to get Larry to point me toward  a laid back position at the time of the last elections and unfortunately at the time I wasn't eligible but now ,  With The Opening of The Legislative Representative position .

 I was Thrown to the Wolves but will all the help , I'm Having a Great Deal of Enjoyment with all the work. 

Looking forward to many Years of Service to come .


Married for 23 years To My Wonderful Wife Verna , No kids - just nieces and nephews and Dogs and Cats .
